I'm used to listening to audiobooks that are weak on believability from the Escape membership, but not from this author. Griffin seems completely insistent on keeping Cosy in his life, but the author never gets you to understand why he loves her or why she loves him. Being a virgin and losing your virginity is not sexy. Why is Cosy a 22-year-old virgin? That is explained, but not in a satisfying way. There is no explanation to them falling in love, why these two? The age difference is a point of concern for them both, but never resolved. It also doesn't work that the heroine, Cosy, who is very likeable, is the person Griffin is interested in. Maybe if he had spent some time away from relationships, it would be more believable. It makes NO sense that Griffin, a serial monogamist, would fall in love with the next woman he dates. This one feels like it was written by someone else. I LOVE Helena Hunting as an author, and really enjoyed the other books in this series about the Mills brothers. I listen to several audiobooks a week and usually choose from the Audible Escape, so when I buy or use a precious credit on a non-Escape audiobook, it's because I really believe it will be top-notch. Griffin Mills is using his business trip in Las Vegas as a chance to escape the broken pieces of his life in New York City. So when the hottest guy she’s ever seen walks into the shop looking completely overwhelmed, she’s more than happy to turn on the charm and help him purchase all of the items on his list. Morgan, with his swoon-inducing, even-toned, perfectly paced voice, is everything listeners want in a hero." ( AudioFile Magazine)Ī new stand-alone, laugh-out-loud romantic comedy by New York Times best-selling author Helena Hunting.Ĭosy Felton is great at her job - she knows just how to handle the awkwardness that comes with working at an adult toy store.
